Try this for your summer picnics!!

Strawberry Pretzel Salad
Bottom: 2 Cups coarsely ground
pretzels
3 Tablespoons Sugar
1
1/2 sticks melted margarine
Mix & pat in large glass 13x9
dish
Bake @ 375 degrees for 6
minutes. Do not
overbake....Cool
Center: 8oz cream cheese
3/4 cup sugar
9oz Cool Whip
Beat all this till fluffy &
spread evenly over
pretzels to edges to seal edges.
Top: 2 small boxes of strawberry
jello dis-
solved in 2 cups boiling water. Stir
in 2 boxes
"Birds Eye Quick Thaw"
frozen strawberries
Stir till berries are part
thawed and separated.
Pour over cream cheese layer. Chill
till firm.
