Crunchy Cole Slaw - Harriet Crozier
1 16oz. Pkg. Cole Slaw Mix
Crunchy Topping:
1 pkg. Ramen Chicken Noodle Soup
� cup silvered almonds
3 Tablespoons (T)
Sesame Seeds
4 T butter
Crush noodles in package (not too fine - leave chunky), reserving
seasoning packet for dressing. Brown first 3 topping ingredients in
butter and cool.
Dressing:
2/3 cup light (Safflower) oil - (I use vegetable oil)
2 T rice vinegar - (I use apple cider vinegar)
4 T sugar
1 teaspoon black pepper
� teaspoon salt (I don�t use)
6 green onion, thinly sliced
Combine above ingredients in a jar and shake vigorously to thoroughly
combine all ingredients.
To Serve:
Just before serving, combine Cole Slaw mix, crunch topping and dressing.
Mix well (If prepared to early slaw gets soggy)
